Lyrics and Translation:

Har Ghadi Badal Raha Hai Roop Zindagi
Chaav Hai Kabhi Hai Dhoop Zindagi
Har Pal Yahan Jee Bhar Jiyo
Jo Hai Sama, Kal Ho Na Ho

Every passing moment the world around us is changing its forms. Sometimes we have comfortable settings and sometimes unpleasant ones. Seize the moment and live it fully for what you have (see) today may not be there tomorrow.

Chaahe Jo Tumhe Poore Dil Se
Milta Hai Woh Mushkil Se
Aisa Jo Koi Kahin Hai
Bas Vahi Sabse Hasin Hai
Uss Haath Ko Tum Thaam Lo
Woh Meherbaan Kal Ho Na Ho

In this vastness of creation, it is rare to come across someone who cares deeply for you. If there is someone like that with you, that person is the beloved (God's gift to you). Caress your beloved's hand as this form may not be there tomorrow

Palko Ke Leke Saaye
Paas Koi Jo Aaye
Lakh Sambhalo Paagal Dil Ko
Dil Dhadke Hi Jaaye
Par Sochlo Iss Pal Hai Jo
Woh Dastan Kal Ho Na Ho

Ever so quietly, does the beloved enter your heart. Inspite of resisting love, you are hopelessly besotted. Yet, realize the truth of impermanence and see that this communion of forms may not last till tomorrow. Our bodies made from clay shall soon return back to the earth yet the love we feel in our hearts will beat forever.

P.S. Here's another short movie which celebrates the power of what we decide to do in the present moment. Take a look at it Right Here, Right Now and enjoy the red blossom cherry!

Reflection

'What day is it?' 'It's today,' squeaked Piglet. 'My favorite day,' said Pooh.

One day while walking through the wilderness a man stumbled upon a vicious tiger. He ran but soon came to the edge of a high cliff. Desperate to save himself, he climbed down a vine and dangled over the fatal precipice. As he hung there, two mice appeared from a hole in the cliff and began gnawing on the vine.

Suddenly, he noticed on the vine a plump wild red blossom strawberry. He plucked it and popped it in his mouth. It was incredibly delicious!

The tiger at the top may represent the pain of the past, the precipice or valley the worries of the future; the precarious vine may symbolize the stresses of the now, and the mice signify the passage of time. In the midst of life, the message is to be present enough to notice the red blossom cherry and enjoy its sweetness.
